It’s hard to believe is been a year already. We have accomplished much within the chapter this year and hope to equal or exceed our progress next year. One of our goals this year was to clean and freshen up the Chapter House and Hangar. Progress was made on both. We are currently replacing the carpet with VCT (vinyl composite tile) in the meeting room and did a general sprucing up including a new computer, printer and monitor... NOTE: we would like to replace the current art work with pictures of planes completed in the 448 hangar. We can copy or duplicate a picture you may have if you want it back.

Please include builder name, plane type and completion date if possible. We would like to honor all who have succeeded in this quest. See Pete McCoy or myself if you have pictures we can use.

All the preparation work was completed for the hangar build out including walls and foundation work. We hope to finish this in the early part of next year.

At the beginning of the year we purchased a new hot dog cooking grill that worked great at the Air Show. We hope to do even better for the 2010 Air Show. Don’t forget to volunteer! Sign up sheets will be available at the Christmas Party.

We had one successful Young Eagles event and plan on doing more. We do need pilots so let Robert Scott know you’re interested.
The idea of a chapter build project is still being reviewed. We are waiting for feedback from ‘Donate a Plane’ to see if they have something for us.
My special thanks to all the chapter members and their support throughout the year.

Happy Holidays,

Rocky Morrison
